Edam Cheese Young 1.9 kg

The pride of Edam: these perfectly round little cheeses. They originated in the 14th century in the prosperous harbour town of Edam. Cheeses of about two kilos were handy to take on board. These 40+ cheeses have a mild flavour with a slightly spicy aroma and (Zuiderzee) salty undertones. We distinguish between nitrate-free Edam cheeses of 1.9 kg, available young and matured, and low-salt Edam of 1.7 kg, available from young to old.

And as if the little Edam cheeses weren't charming enough, there is also the Baby Edam. The whole family is ready and can be supplied in different ways: in a natural rind, in red paraffin and in red cellophane. Just try to resist this true Edam treat.
